Lifespan is a trusted, mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping older adults take on the challenges and opportunities of longer life. This remote role supports caregivers and community partners across eight Western New York counties.

The NYSCRC Respite Coordinator handles outreach, data collection, training programs, and coordination of respite services. The position is non-exempt, up to 22 per hour, with full benefits and a hybrid option after probation.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, BS or BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of community resources; volunteerism experience helpful.
• Must be able to work independently as this is a remote position.
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NYSCRC Caregiver programs in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties.
• Assist the NYSCRC Director with gathering and maintaining updated data and files relating to the State Respite deliverables and outcomes.
• Manage the Online Respite Care Provider Training.
• Manage the NYSCRC Respite Registry.
• Maintain data and files regarding information and assistance and case management.
• Provide the NYSCRC Director with support generating respite site records and reports.
• Arrange and conduct presentations for visibility of NYSCRC Vouchers and related programs.
• Conduct outreach to community groups and volunteer organizations to raise awareness of programs.
