Job summary

GSK is seeking a field-based Sales professional to drive growth in select NY territory, including Syracuse and Newark. You will engage with specialist customers, deliver scientific education, and navigate payer and distribution channels while operating within GSK guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of pharma or B2B sales, a Bachelor's degree, and a valid driver’s license. Domestic travel and a dynamic, collaborative environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography. No relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify resources to refer customers to appropriate resource for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge of severe asthma therapeutic expertise.
• Provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer within an account.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources (i.e., financial).
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer requests, inquiries and needs.
