• 5+ years of residential construction project management experience with direct ownership of projects.
• Experience managing residential projects in California or similar regulated markets.
• Proficiency with construction project management tools, scheduling software, spreadsheets, and digital documentation platforms.
• Ability to manage projects remotely with strong communication and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential construction projects across California from preconstruction planning through final closeout.
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, subcontractor timelines, and milestone tracking for active residential work.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Review drawings, specifications, proposals, change orders, selections, and project documentation for accuracy and execution readiness.
• Track project costs, approve invoices, manage change orders, and identify budget risks before they impact profitability.
• Lead regular project updates with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and leadership to resolve issues and maintain accountability.
• Monitor quality, safety, schedule, permitting, and inspection requirements across assigned residential job sites.
• Support procurement, material coordination, and vendor communication to prevent delays and keep projects moving.
• Maintain clear project records, status updates, punch lists, and closeout documentation for each assigned project.
