Job summary

The Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist to advance epidemiologic and health policy research. You will work with lead investigators to design analyses, craft SAS programs, and ensure rigorous, well-documented results.

Responsibilities include preparing manuscripts and presentations, mentoring junior analysts, and communicating complex findings to sponsors, policymakers, and clinical collaborators. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology or related field.
• Progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software (SAS preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with health services research, epidemiology or policy context.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research development with lead investigators.
• Design analytical approaches for research questions.
• Develop SAS code and verify accuracy of analyses.
• Prepare papers and presentations for journals and meetings.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to project objectives.
• Present results to diverse audiences including clinicians and biostatisticians.
• Attend committee meetings and conferences.
• Contribute to proposals for new projects.
