Arbor Research Collaborative for Health in the United States seeks a Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist to advance epidemiologic and health policy research. You will design analytical approaches, develop SAS code, and prepare papers for journals and presentations.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior analysts, collaborating with lead investigators, and presenting results to diverse audiences, including clinicians and sponsors.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or PhD in quantitative field (Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, etc.)
• Progressively more responsible statistical programming experience
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (survival analysis)
• Strong oral/written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences
• Contributions to health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Health research background and Arbor Research project/contract expertise

Responsabilidades

• Work with the lead investigators to coordinate research development and ensure timely completion of assignments
• Contribute to the design of analytical approaches for specific research questions
• Adhere to strategies and tools to ensure accuracy, programming, and documentation standards
• Perform analyses and write papers for journals; support funding and public data requests
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations
• Assist authors with tables and figures for written materials
• Present results in public forums to biostatisticians and clinicians and represent Arbor Research
• Attend committee meetings, calls, and conferences
• Contribute to writing and proposals for new projects
• Develop SAS code for analyses and verify coding accuracy
• Mentor junior analysts and help select/develop methodologies
• Mentor and collaborate with junior Research Analysts to meet project objectives
