Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist to join our epidemiology and health policy research teams. Depending on your qualifications and experience, we may also consider you for placement at the Senior Research Analyst II level.

Candidates should demonstrate scientific rigor, strong statistical programming (SAS preferred), and the ability to design analytical approaches, mentor junior analysts, and present results to diverse audiences

Formación

• Master’s degree or PhD in quantitative field.
• Progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (i.e., conducting survival analysis).
• Strong oral/written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, including sponsors and policy makers.
• Demonstrated Arbor Research project/contract expertise.
• Contributions to field of health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Health research background.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the lead investigators to coordinate research development and timely completion.
• Contribute significantly to the design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Develop SAS code for completing analyses and verify accuracy of coding.
• Provide mentoring to junior analysts to help implement statistical analyses.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations for epidemiologic and health policy research.
• Assist authors with preparing tables and figures for inclusion in materials.
• Present results in public forums to biostatisticians and clinicians and represent Arbor Research.
• Attend committee meetings, conference calls, and national/international conferences.
• Contribute to proposals for new projects.
