Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health in Austin, TX, seeks a Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist to advance health research through rigorous statistical analysis and reporting. Master’s degree or PhD in quantitative field such as statistics or epidemiology.
4+ years of statistical programming experience.
Experience with survival analysis is preferred.
Proven ability to communicate with sponsors and policymakers.
Health services research background is desirable.

Responsibilities

Work with the lead investigators to coordinate research development and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Contribute to design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
Develop SAS code and verify accuracy of coding.
Mentor junior analysts to help implement analyses.
Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations for epidemiologic and health policy research.
