The Chicago School is seeking a Research Compliance Specialist to support the institution's compliance program. You will conduct audits, monitor research protocols, and deliver training on human subjects protections for faculty, staff, and students in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities include developing educational materials, tracking participation, and staying current with regulatory changes. Strong collaboration with IRB and academic units is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as research compliance, public health, or social sciences.
• 3 years of experience in research compliance, IRB operations or related areas.
• Experience with human subjects research and compliance auditing or monitoring.
• Knowledge of federal regulations governing research and institutional policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience developing training programs or educational materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic research/compliance systems.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment using Zoom.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct for-cause audits authorized by the IRB or institutional official.
• Perform periodic compliance reviews of research protocols and documentation.
• Write reports and communicate findings to investigators and committees.
• Monitor adherence to IRB determinations and reporting requirements.
• Support internal audits relating to research governance.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IRB and sponsored programs offices to maintain compliance frameworks.
• Design and deliver training on IRB processes and federal regulations.
