ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, is seeking a Renewables Design Engineer to support utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects. You will issue IFC drawing packages, develop MV and distribution layouts, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure constructability.

The role offers remote or hybrid work arrangements with minimal travel, and requires experience in inverter-based resources and strong AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power
• Strong understanding of NEC/UL/ISO
• Experience with design and construction of power/renewable projects

Aufgaben

• Develop detailed engineering designs for utility-scale and commercial solar PV and BESS projects from concept through construction.
• Create and maintain Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing packages, including plans, profiles, diagrams, site layouts, electrical details, grounding and installation details.
• Produce construction-ready drawings and documentation that comply with project specifications and codes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical teams for integration and constructability.
• Develop and review MV and distribution system layouts, cable routing, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform design calculations: voltage drop, fault current, grounding, short-circuit, equipment sizing.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support permitting activities and coordinate with utilities for interconnection matters.
