Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group’s Power Generation team is seeking a Renewables Design Engineer to support 30/60/90/IFC drawing sets for solar PV and battery storage projects. The role involves developing detailed designs, IFC packages, and coordination across civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical teams.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years in power/renewable design, experience with AutoCAD, and a collaborative approach suitable for a remote/hybrid schedule with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power and 4+ years’ experience in design/construction of power/renewable projects.
• Experience with NEC/UL/ISO standards and ability to develop system-level schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and collaboration across project teams to ensure successful implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects from concept through construction.
• Create and maintain IFC drawing packages including plan views, profiles, and wiring diagrams.
• Produce construction-ready drawings and documentation complying with project specs and codes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical teams to ensure design integration.
