Job summary

SunStrong Management, LLC seeks a Portfolio Manager II to ensure safe, reliable, and optimized performance of solar and EV charging assets across the fleet. You will strategically manage Field Service Partners, drive contractual compliance, and maintain partnerships to support portfolio growth.

The role emphasizes coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing system performance, and ensuring timely service delivery, with a hybrid Houston-office preference.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of direct experience in solar and/or BESS site operations, asset management.
• Strong knowledge of safe industrial work practices and site safety.
• Professional communication with site owners and subcontractors, verbal and written.
• Deep knowledge of solar assets, OEM warranties, RMAs, and service agreements.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Field Service Partners to meet contractual SLA's and reporting requirements.
• Validate scope of work, timelines, and quotes; liaise with PMs for complex repairs.
• Expedite and provide updates on approved repairs and RFP efforts.
• Manage service work orders from creation to resolution in Salesforce.
• Maintain weekly activity records and collaborate with vendors and facility managers.
• Schedule preventative maintenance per contractual obligations and manage related services.
• Analyze system performance and identify root causes of underperformance.
• Report monthly on performance guarantees and site financials.
