Job summary

TerraForm Power is seeking a Project Engineer II to support the technical execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from late-stage development through construction and turnover. The role collaborates with EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and suppliers to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery in alignment with TERP’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in power, renewable energy, or utility-scale project delivery.
• Experience with EPC project execution, design coordination, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of PV systems, wind, or battery energy storage is preferred.
• Familiarity with PJM/SERC interconnection and utility coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned technical workstreams or projects from development handoff through commercial operation, coordinating activities, schedules, deliverables, and action items.
• Apply engineering standards and project requirements to day-to-day technical decisions; elevate risks and decisions to project leadership.
• Support pre-construction activities, including risk assessments, layout and design reviews, constructability evaluations, and cost input.
• Review EPC design deliverables at key design stages and track responses and closeout.
