Job summary

Clean Energy Counsel, a mission-driven law firm accelerating the world's shift from fossil fuels, seeks a Renewable Energy Senior Corporate Attorney with about 3 years of law firm experience to advise on M&A, financings, JVs, and other strategic transactions for clean energy clients.

This fully remote role offers a collaborative environment and the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients from anywhere you are licensed to practice.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of corporate/transactional experience in a law firm.
• Experience supporting complex corporate transactions: M&A, equity financings, JV, PE investments.
• Drafting and reviewing transaction documents, due diligence, closing deliverables.
• Foundational knowledge of corporate law, governance, formation, and transactional structures.
• Ability to manage transaction workstreams independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support senior attorneys on corporate and transactional matters through the business lifecycle.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, restructurings, and strategic transactions.
• Draft and review equity financings, PE investments, and capital-raising documents.
• Assist with structuring and documenting joint ventures and partnerships.
• Coordinate due diligence, closing checklists, and transaction deliverables.
