Job summary
Hexion is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support a network of North American manufacturing plants. You will drive a proactive maintenance culture, lead bad actor elimination, and embed reliability practices across sites to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.
This data-driven role requires leading RCA, FMEA, and PM optimization, coordinating with site teams, maintaining CMMS data integrity, and traveling across the plant network to share solutions and standardize practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related engineering.
- Experience in reliability, maintenance, or engineering in industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of RCA, FMEA, preventive and predictive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Drive bad actor elimination and downtime reduction across sites.
- Lead asset criticality ranking and cross-site calibration workshops.
- Lead root cause analysis and failure elimination activities.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and PM optimization.
- Translate reliability actions into executable work orders and updates.
- Foster cross-site learning and standardization of reliability processes.
- Build site reliability capability through coaching and training.
- Track performance with reliability KPIs and report trends.
- Support asset lifecycle decisions and continuous improvement.
