The American Red Cross is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for Training Services to drive value through the Agile Release Train. This role supports planning commitments, escalates impediments, and guides continuous improvement while leading volunteers and teams—remote home-based with East Coast schedule.

Required SAFe certifications, a Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years in RTE/SAFe roles. Excellent communication and metrics skills are essential to success in this mission-driven organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• SAFe SM or RTE certifications REQUIRED.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in RTE, SM, SAFe Coach or equivalent.
• Experience transitioning new agile teams in SAFe environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead ART cadence including Syncs, Backlog Refinement, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and PI Planning (remote or in-person).
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Product Managers/Owners, Scrum Masters, System Architect, Stakeholders, and customers.
• Report ART metrics and Program Increment progress/impediments.
• Mentor SMs and onboard new SMs as needed.
• Partner with Transformation Coach Agile CoE to reinforce agile execution standards and SAFe trainings.
• Build high-performing SMs and define mission for SMs.
• Manage a team including hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
