Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for Training Services. This remote role guides the Agile Release Train, facilitates PI planning, and partners with portfolio managers, product teams, and coaches to optimize value delivery.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in RTE/SAFe roles, and SAFe SM/RTE certifications. The position requires US work authorization and offers a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
SAFe SM or RTE certifications REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of related experience in RTE/SM/SAFe Coach or equivalent
Experience transitioning new agile teams in a SAFe environment
3 years of supervisory or management experience

Responsibilities

Lead ART cadence including ART Syncs, Backlog Refinement, System Demos, Inspect and Adapt, and PI Planning (remote or in-person).
Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Product Managers/Owners, Scrum Masters, System Architect, and stakeholders.
Report on ART metrics and Program Increment progress.Mentor SMs and coaches; onboard new SMs as needed.
Partner with Transformation Coach Agile CoE to reinforce agile execution standards and trainings.
Build high-performing SMs and define mission for SMs.
Manage a team including hiring, training, coaching, evaluation and performance.
