Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Release Train Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in a 100% remote role. You will own how work flows through one program, breaking business priorities into small, deliverable epics, and coaching teams to optimize autonomy and delivery velocity.

Responsibilities include Kanban governance, risk and dependency management, and embedding AI-readiness into delivery. W2-compatible benefits are offered for eligible consultants.

Qualifications

• Proven Release Train Engineer or senior agile leader with measurable improvements in flow and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Kanban, Lean flow, WIP limits, and dependency management.
• Excellent coaching and facilitation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled products or data-driven initiatives.
• Cross-functional leadership across product, technology, and risk domains.

Responsibilities

• Run the program Kanban system and establish clear readiness/done criteria.
• Translate business intent into executable epics with product/business partners.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers across data access and integrations.
• Embed AI readiness into delivery with evaluation, human review, and monitoring.
• Facilitate planning, demos, and retrospectives focusing on forecasting and trade-offs.
• Coach leaders and teams to improve autonomy and reduce central coordination.
