Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help customers achieve their financial goals by identifying needs and recommending suitable deposit, loan and banking services.

You will retain and grow consumer and business relationships through proactive outreach, exceptional service, and teamwork, while following risk and regulatory requirements in an office setting with possible flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal-driven retail sales, or B2B sales experience.
• Background check including fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
• Ability to build, deepen and retain relationships.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile and online banking.
• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, centers of influence, and referrals.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintaining knowledge of products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
