Navitus Health Solutions is hiring a Reimbursement Specialist I to join the team, focusing on processing copay assistance program reimbursements and billing accuracy. You will monitor claims, ensure proper patient data in the software, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• CPhT preferred.
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license is strongly preferred where licensure is required.
• Experience with pharmacy, health plan or clinical insurance claims billing, benefit assessments, billing/claims documentation, or claims auditing is preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor claims activity for accuracy and successful submission.
• Ensure patient billing information is set up correctly in the pharmacy software.
• Participate in reimbursement/billing conferences and meetings as needed.
• Respond to questions or complaints regarding reimbursement and/or billing.
• Work with internal teams to review and resolve claim issues.
• Maintain accurate reference information related to reimbursement and copay assistance.
• Document information, insurance and prescriptions/orders in patient profiles with accuracy.
• Comply with applicable federal and state laws and high ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
