Job summary

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist for a 12-month temporary contract. You will guide patients, providers, and payers through reimbursement and prior authorization for the Omnipod system, spanning Canada with English and French support.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Case Management, Billing and payers, and offers a remote work option. Healthcare experience and CRM proficiency are important for success.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Bilingual English/French preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or consumer product fields preferred.
• Experience with private or public payers in Canada preferred.
• Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Understand Insulet insurance contracts and processing requirements for all products.
• Process reimbursement by contacting payors and verifying benefits per guidelines.
• Submit prior authorization requests for Insulet products at claim time.
• Calculate cost share amounts for English and French customers.
• Collaborate across Sales, Case Management, OmniPod Sales and Billing.
• Document interactions in the CRM while staying HIPAA compliant.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as required.
