Job summary

Insulet Corporation in Canada is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist for a 12-month temporary contract to guide patients, providers, and payers through the insurance and reimbursement process for the Omnipod system, delivering a positive patient experience.

You will collaborate with Sales, Case Management, Billing, and payers across Canada, leveraging bilingual English and French communication to minimize access barriers.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual English/French strongly preferred.
• 2–4 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or consumer product experience preferred.
• Knowledge of managed care and experience supporting patients with diabetes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand Insulet insurance contracts and processing requirements for all products.
• Process reimbursement by contacting payors, verifying benefits, and adhering to guidelines.
• Submit all prior authorization requests for Insulet products.
• Calculate and document patient cost shares for English and French customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Case Management, Billing, and payers to communicate order status.
• Document all interactions in the CRM and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide feedback to improve processes; perform other duties as required.
