Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Regulatory Affairs lead to manage filing submissions, policy research, and regulatory interpretation across multiple states. You will coordinate projects with cross-functional teams, ensure quality of all outputs, and act as the primary contact for health plan and state department communications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in regulatory work, and preferred JD. Travel up to 20% nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of regulatory experience.
• Experience in policy analysis and product filing or QHP documentation.
• Prior supervisory/management experience (0–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Manage the team’s review, interpretation, and summarization of current, proposed, and enacted legislation and/or regulatory updates.
• Coordinate, develop, monitor, and lead regulatory or filing projects with cross-functional partners.
• Perform quality assurance audits on department work product including regulatory research and filings.
• Maintain the product benefit system used as the Source of Truth for QHP templates and documents.
• Audit outputs from the Source of Truth system and related documents.
• Assess team performance to drive improvements and growth.
• Drive measurable, scalable processes to help the department scale efficiently.
• Collaborate with IT on system enhancements and fixes to the product benefit database.
• Oversee staff working with IT on the product benefit database.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with policies.
• Travel up to 20% within continental United States.
