Job summary

Centene is seeking a regulatory affairs leader to guide submissions, policy research, and QHP template development. This fully remote role within the U.S. serves as the main liaison with Health Plans and State DOIs, overseeing risk assessments and cross-functional regulatory projects.

You will maintain the Source of Truth product benefit database, supervise QA outputs, and drive scalable, compliant processes. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of regulatory experience (JD desirable) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare, Political Science, or related.
• 5+ years of regulatory experience including policy analysis and product filings.
• Experience in commercial health insurance or a highly regulated industry.
• 0-3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of health products and state insurance regulations.
• Pre-Law, Master's or JD desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team's review, interpretation, and summarization of legislation and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate and lead regulatory or filing projects with cross-functional partners.
• Perform QA audits on department work products and regulatory research.
• Maintain the product benefit system used as the source of truth for QHP templates.
• Supervise audits from the source of truth system and documents.
• Develop performance insights to improve staff growth and quality.
• Support scalable, repeatable processes to enable department growth.
• Collaborate with IT on enhancements to the product benefit database.
• Supervise staff working with IT on product benefit database.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
