Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare, or Political Science with regulatory experience.
• Experience in commercial health insurance or a highly regulated industry.
• Pre-Law, Master’s or JD desirable.
• 0-3 years supervisory/management experience.
• In depth knowledge of health products and state insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and summarize current, proposed, and enacted legislation and regulatory updates.
• Lead regulatory or filing projects with cross-functional business partners.
• Perform QA audits on department outputs and regulatory research.
• Maintain the product benefit system as Source of Truth for QHP templates.
• Supervise audit outputs from the Source of Truth system.
• Assess team performance and drive improvement and growth for staff.
• Collaborate with IT on system enhancements for the product benefit database.
• Travel up to 20% within continental United States.
