Job summary

Independence American Insurance Co is seeking an Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist who reports to the Director, Compliance. The role supports end-to-end regulatory change management, monitors laws, analyzes changes, and communicates impacts to the organization.

You will track evidence of compliance and assist with investigations and reviews. Remote – USA work location with responsibilities across health and property & casualty insurance compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience with at least 1 year in compliance/audit.
• Experience in Health Insurance Compliance or Property & Casualty Insurance Compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and determine applicability of laws for the organization.
• Distill law requirements for owners; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain knowledge repository on regulations.
• Coordinate with owners and vendors to train and educate on compliance.
• Support monitoring and auditing workplans; identify non-compliance risks.
• Collaborate on questions, complaints, incidents.
• Manage timelines; communicate impacts to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
