Job summary

aah is seeking a Registered Nurse for Virtual Nursing Observation in Charlotte, NC. This full-time telehealth role requires evidence-based nursing care, strong communication, and the ability to work across care teams in a virtual setting.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license, have 3 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience (or 1 year in Progressive Care/ICU), and preferably hold a BSN. BLS is required; a telehealth-friendly environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the client is located.
• BLS certification required; telehealth/telemedicine experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred for this telehealth nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans; collaborate with care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
