Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; telehealth/virtual practice may require state licensing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care using evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans in collaboration with the care team; ensures safety and care outcomes.
• Ensures timely, accurate EHR documentation and adherence to policies.
• May float to other units or facilities to meet patient care needs.
