Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Regional Wholesaler to drive retirement plan product sales through financial intermediaries in the Northern California region, including Fresno, with travel to Nevada. Exempt role; requires FINRA licenses and extensive industry knowledge.

Strong relationship-building and presentation skills are essential. The position involves coordinating with IPs, preparing proposals, and representing Nationwide at conferences while maintaining licenses and staying current on industry

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in business, finance, communications or liberal arts preferred.
• FINRA licenses required; CLU, ChFC, FLMI, CFP preferred; must obtain licenses within designated period.
• Minimum five years experience in 401(k)/retirement plan business or related roles.
• Strong math, finance, statistics knowledge and investment concepts.
• Excellent presentation, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with advisors and administrators to promote Nationwide products.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and closing paperwork with IPs; assist at meetings.
• Promote Nationwide products and services; focus on profitable growth in territory.
• Assist in asset retention and servicing; coordinate with field teams.
• Participate in industry conferences and regional meetings; coordinate group meetings.
