Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Regional Technical Leader to support the technical and maintenance teams across multiple sites in the United States. You will drive growth enablement, retention, and losses reduction by building maintenance and technical capability through training for operators and maintenance staff.

This hands-on leadership role requires travel across the region, ensuring safe operation of blow molding equipment (Uniloy, Bekum, Rocheleau and others), adherence to safety standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 6 to 10 years’ experience in a high-output plastics manufacturing environment with in-depth knowledge of hydraulic electrical equipment.
• 5 to 10 years’ experience working in the maintenance field.
• Basic computer skills and basic Microsoft Office skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a technically capable maintenance team by recruiting, training, and developing staff to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
• Hands-on training and capability building 1:1 or in small groups on the floor.
• Be hands-on to troubleshoot and maintain equipment across sites.
• Facilitate and deliver training classes for Operators and Maintenance personnel.
• Establish relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories.
• Coordinate frequent travel up to 100% to designated locations.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
