Job summary

Shine Early Learning seeks a Technical Assistance Manager (Western Region) to lead a team delivering high-quality TA to child care providers in Montana and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes data-driven improvement, collaboration with state partners, and building strong teams across classrooms and leadership levels.

The position requires significant experience in early childhood, leadership, and technical assistance, with Montana residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or related field preferred.
• 5 years experience in child care required, Montana experience preferred.
• 3+ years center-based leadership and/or 2+ years TA experience required.
• ECE classroom teaching or TA experience required.
• Experience with licensing support or quality improvement plans.
• Montana certifications or state trainings completed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise TA Specialists and Content Specialists for quality delivery.
• Provide ongoing professional development on-site and in-program.
• Use data to inform individual and team performance.
• Develop and manage staff delivering classroom and organizational support.
• Collaborate with Project Director/Deputy Director on protocols and procedures.
• Participate in meetings, events and required trainings.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding and staff development.
