Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking aRegional Sales Manager for the West Coast to drive revenue, market share and margins in the municipal water and wastewater sector. You will lead a network of independent manufacturer's representatives and align with engineers, municipalities and internal teams.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, CRM/Salesforce proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 50%. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in municipal water/valve sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of sales or technical sales experience in municipal water/wastewater; valve or process equipment exp. preferred.
• Experience with manufacturer’s representative firms.
• Understanding of municipal project lifecycle (specification, bidding, procurement).
• Ability to influence specifications with engineers.
• Strong technical aptitude to explain product applications.
• CRM systems experience, Salesforce preferred, with forecasting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (~50%).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, share, and margin goals.
• Coach and develop a network of manufacturer’s reps; set expectations and train.
• Influence project specifications by calling on engineers, municipalities, and utilities.
• Lead product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and technical training for engineers and reps.
• Provide front-line engineering support in coordination with internal resources.
• Identify, qualify, and manage opportunities from specification to award.
• Collaborate with inside sales to develop quotes aligned with regional goals.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasts, and activity in Salesforce.
• Build relationships with engineers, municipalities, contractors, and distributors.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends; report insights.
