Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Regional Sales Coordinator.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set an example through a professional, friendly attitude towards clients and team members, with timely responses.
- Respond to information requests and inquiries, either directly or by routing to the appropriate team member.
- Extend quote rates based on contracted flexibility of +/- 3 days.
- Manage group blocks based on occupancy percentage and hotel size.
- Handle sales correspondence, reports, and client documentation, including BEOs, PACE Reports, Statistical Reports, and Resumes, according to organizational policies.
- Assist with completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure all documents are completed accurately and on time, maintaining digital sales records and filing systems.
- Manage wedding and social blocks, including sending rooming list updates, coordinating rooms-only details, and post-event duties.
- Create booking links and detail rooms-only groups.
- Coordinate with accounting to process deposits and record payments.
- Document client communication in Delphi using Outlook.
- Monitor and forward emails from sales@ based on subject matter.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required; post-high school education preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a hotel or conference catering/sales assistant role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
