MV Transportation, Inc. seeks a Region Safety Director for the Northeast. This remote leadership role guides safety strategy, audits, investigations, and program implementation across multiple locations with about 60% travel.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, training, compliance, risk, HR, and client teams to build a proactive safety culture and strong accountability. You will lead safety performance reviews, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA, ADA), and mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent listed in the posting.
• 5+ years management experience in safety/training across multiple locations.
• 5+ years OSHA experience.
• 5+ years DOT transportation compliance experience.
• Experience with defensive driving programs.
• TSSP Certification preferred.
• Experience working with unionized workforce preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead compliance programs and policy management across the region.
• Oversee audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure timely investigation, documentation, and reporting of incidents.
• Develop and sustain safety training programs with measurable improvements.
• Coach and develop regional leaders to embed safety in daily operations.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, risk, HR, and clients.
