Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager - Market Access (RAM) to execute payor strategies across Commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid in assigned states. The role reports to the National Payor Account Director and drives access for Surgical Glaucoma products, influencing payer policy and enabling provider and patient adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payor/reimbursement within medical devices
• Minimum 2 years’ ophthalmic practice management/reimbursement related to MIGS
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and CMS regulations for Medicare Advantage
• Proven payor strategy, reimbursement, and account management experience
• Strong executive presence with payors, KOLs, and hospitals
• Willingness to travel 30–50% / about 3 nights per week
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies to secure coverage and reimbursement.
• Partner with Sales to educate and support customers by removing access barriers.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor criteria and requirements.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors, state agencies, and advocacy groups.
• Serve as regional payor/coverage SME for MIGS reimbursement, coding, billing, and appeals.
• Understand stakeholders across Commercial, MedAdv, Medicaid, and related groups.
