Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager - Market Access to drive payor strategy and reimbursement across commercial plans, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid in designated states. The role reports to the National Payor Account Director and requires extensive travel to engage medical directors, policy staff, and providers.

The RAM will educate physicians and institutions on payor requirements, build sustainable coverage pathways, and influence policy for MIGS devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in life sciences or business preferred.
• 5+ years in payor/reimbursement in medical devices and Part B coverage.
• 2+ years in ophthalmic practice management and revenue cycle reimbursement related to MIGS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies to secure and maintain coverage, coding, and reimbursement.
• Partner with Sales teams to educate and support customers by removing access barriers and resolving reimbursement challenges.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor coverage criteria for MIGS products.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors, state agencies, and advocacy organizations to influence policy and coverage decisions.
• Serve as regional payor expert guiding internal teams on reimbursement, coding, billing and appeals.
