Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager-Market Access to drive payor strategy and reimbursement across assigned states. You will educate stakeholders, influence policy, and enable provider access for MIGS devices, traveling extensively to build sustainable coverage pathways.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Medical Affairs, and HUB teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced life science, business or ophthalmology background preferred.
• 5+ years of payor/reimbursement experience in medical devices and Part B coverage.
• Experience with ophthalmic practice management, billing, and reimbursement for MIGS.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, MAC LCDs and CPT/ICD-10 coding helps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies for coverage and reimbursement.
• Educate sales teams and customers to remove access barriers and resolve reimbursement challenges.
• Lead reimbursement seminars on local payor coverage criteria and requirements.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors, state agencies, and advocacy groups.
• Serve as subject-matter expert on medical device reimbursement, coding, billing and appeals.
• Engage with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial plans across the assigned region.
