Job summary
Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Lead to guide regional medical strategy, coordinate with field leadership, and co-create initiatives aligned with patient-centric goals.
You will ensure resources meet educational needs, engage top decision makers, and drive evidence generation that supports regional priorities. The role involves coaching MSLs, tracking regional metrics, and collaborating with disease-area and health outcomes teams to advance shared objectives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences (Pharm.D., M.D., D.O. or Ph.D.) is strongly preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience providing strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross-functional teams.
- Developing, communicating, and implementing strategy across complex healthcare environments with an ability to influence without authority.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to region strategic business plan addressing regional challenges and opportunities.
- Establish senior stakeholder and C-suite relationships to understand needs and identify insights.
- Develop understanding of regional ecosystems including health systems, centers of excellence, payers.
