Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Lead to guide regional medical strategy and engage senior stakeholders. The RML will partner with field leadership to address regional educational needs and ensure resources are deployed to improve patient care outcomes.

The role focuses on aligning regional activities with patient‑centric goals, coordinating medical plans, and coaching MSLs to prioritize key institutions and influencers in the region.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences (Pharm.D., M.D., D.O. or Ph.D.) preferred.
• 7–10 years of strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to influence without authority and mobilize colleagues to action.
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to regional strategic business plans addressing local challenges and opportunities.
• Manage senior stakeholder and C‑suite relationships across the region.
• Develop understanding of regional ecosystems, payers, and centers of excellence.
• Serve as primary medical contact for regional decision makers and influencers.
• Co‑create and implement initiatives aligned with Otsuka’s priorities.
