Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Regional Medical Lead to guide the regional medical strategy and engage senior stakeholders.

You will coordinate with field leadership to align medical activities with patient-centric goals and ensure regional resources support identified patient needs and outcomes. You will lead a team of MSLs, build influential relationships with decision makers, and develop evidence-generation plans that address local priorities while collaborating across disease

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences strongly preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to influence without authority and mobilize colleagues to action.
• Understanding health systems and patient care delivery to improve outcomes.
• Analytical skills to identify barriers or success factors.
• Commitment to developing self and others in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to regional strategic business plan addressing regional challenges and opportunities.
• Establish and manage senior stakeholder and C-suite relationships across the region.
• Develop understanding of regional ecosystems including health systems, centers of excellence and payers.
• Ensure alignment with patient-centric strategy and deliver optimal care.
• Serve as primary medical contact for top decision makers and influencers in the region.
• Provide field leadership to ensure MSL focus aligns with business priorities.
• Identify regional evidence generation needs with internal stakeholders.
• Track customer experience and use insights to enhance engagement and medical strategy.
• Coach regional colleagues and foster collaborative, patient-centric culture.
