Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Lead to join the regional leadership team and shape strategic plans that improve patient care. You will engage top regional decision makers, guide disease-state education, and coordinate with MSLs to address regional needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven medical strategy, and coaching MSLs to align with business priorities in a patient-centric framework.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biological Sciences is strongly preferred.
7-10 years of experience providing strategic leadership across therapeutic and cross-functional teams.
Experience developing strategy across complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the region strategic business plan with regional leadership to improve patient care.
Establish and manage senior stakeholder and C-suite relationships across the region.
Develop a deep understanding of regional ecosystems and key influencers.
Serve as primary medical contact for regional decision makers and coordinate with MSLs.
Identify regional evidence needs and track customer experience to refine medical strategy.
Provide coaching to MSLs and foster a culture focused on patient-centric innovation.
