Job summary

Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Lubricant Sales – Bulk Product Services. This REMOTE role is based out of the TX area, requiring a reliable vehicle and mileage reimbursement.

You will build our finished lubricants and related services across automotive, construction, trucking, and manufacturing sectors, while fostering strong client relationships and managing administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field required.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial/ environmental services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office).
• Time and territory management skills for value-added sales.
• Strong collaboration and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with facility and service management to meet customer needs; coordinate between Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Customers.
• Complete annual sales revenues budget; approve expenses for direct reports and manager; control sales expenses.
• Develop market strategies, market penetration, and business goals with VP guidance.
• Achieve minimum yearly goals in new business accounts; meet revenue targets; know competitive pricing and margins.
• Maintain visibility of direct report activities; conduct joint sales calls with LOBs, KAMs, and AMs at key accounts; coach and provide feedback.
• Develop business plans with LOB sales to target cross-sell opportunities.
• Conduct quarterly customer reviews for account development.
