Job summary

Safety-Kleen is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Lubricant Sales – Bulk Product Services. This REMOTE role operates from the TX area with a reliable vehicle; mileage is reimbursed.

You will grow our finished lubricants, used motor oil collection, and related services across automotive, construction, trucking, and manufacturing sectors. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial, automotive or environmental services.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with facility and service management to ensure customers’ needs are met; promote coordination between Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Customers.
• Complete annual Sales Revenues Budget; ensure timely approval of expense reports and control sales expenses.
• Develop market strategies, market penetration, and business goals with VP input.
• Achieve minimum yearly new business accounts; meet/exceed revenue targets; understand pricing and margins.
• Maintain daily awareness of direct report sales activities and results; conduct joint sales calls and provide coaching.
• Develop business plans with LOB sales for cross-sell opportunities.
• Complete quarterly customer reviews for account development.
• Negotiate pricing and contract requirements with key accounts with VP support.
• Collaborate with operations to evaluate approaches for new opportunities.
