Job summary

Connect for Health Colorado is seeking a Regional Enrollment Support Specialist to oversee enrollment assistance in Summit County and surrounding areas. You will work with the Assistance Network Team to provide Health Insurance Literacy, enrollment support, and outreach.

The role requires strong communication, public speaking, and project management skills, with responsibilities including one-on-one assistance, community events, and B2B education about health coverage options.

Qualifications

• High school education required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in community coordinating, communications, social services, medical billing or public service roles.
• Familiarity with Connect for Health Colorado’s mission and customer base preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communications skills (verbal and written).
• Self-starter who can drive toward results independently, creating and implementing programs and systems from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and enrollment eligibility support for current and potential Marketplace, Colorado Connect, and Medicaid/CHP+ enrollees.
• Maintain expertise in eligibility rules to raise awareness about the Marketplace and Colorado Connect while providing Assister services.
• Provide fair, accurate, and impartial information about available health coverage options and financial assistance programs.
• Offer direct Enrollment Assistance by helping individuals and families apply for coverage and affordability programs, as applicable.
• Provide information in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner to the population served.
• Communicate important information to customers about verification requirements, health insurance literacy, and renewals.
