Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a remote Regional Engineer to support the Southwest region, providing technical leadership and enabling IPS Annual Operating Plan growth. The role will establish uniform specifications, ensure safe, reliable processes, and support field service operations across IPS service centers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience on AC Induction, Synchronous & Wound Rotor Motors.
• 6+ years’ experience on DC Motors & Generators.
• Knowledge of high voltage motors & generators.
• Knowledge of IEEE Standards.
• Knowledge of NEMA MG-1, API-541/547.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional engineering for motor repair and field services.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and data sheets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (IEEE, NEMA, API).
• Provide electrical technical support to customers, repair shops, and field personnel.
• Support supplier qualifications and strategic sourcing activities.
• Drive development of electrical repair procedures and work instructions.
