Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Senior Manager, Energy Development to own energy delivery across the United States region for hyperscale digital infrastructure. You will be the regional energy authority, driving energy strategy, utility engagement, and power delivery from site selection through energization, while serving as the primary decision-maker on energy matters in your market.

You will develop regional energy strategies, manage interconnections and large-load contracts, and lead negotiations

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Proven experience leading utility relationships and negotiating energy agreements.
• Strong knowledge of ERCOT, PJM, MISO, WECC or similar markets.
• Experience managing utility interconnections and large-load service applications.
• Experience directing third-party consultants and external advisors.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory processes with strategic execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or Business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional energy strategy aligning grid capacity, utility timelines and commitments.
• Lead negotiations for utility service agreements, interconnection agreements, PPAs and tariffs.
• Oversee power delivery from site selection through energization and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with site acquisition, development, construction, finance and legal teams.
• Monitor IRPs, capacity markets and regulatory developments for risks and opportunities.
