Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking a Regional Director for Surety Field Operations in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey territory. This fully remote role requires building and managing a large contract surety book, developing agency relationships, and leading with underwriting expertise.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics and at least five years of large-contract surety underwriting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics required.
• Minimum five years of surety underwriting experience focusing on larger contractors with higher bond activity.
• Supplemental surety/insurance training or designations (e.g., AFSB, CPCU) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a large contract surety book for the assigned territory.
• Appoint new agency relationships and grow surety business.
• Maintain close agency relationships and demonstrate underwriting expertise.
• Travel within the territory to meet agents, account executives and bond principals.
• Deliver polished surety presentations to agents and bond principals.
