Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Remote Regional Director, Environmental, Health & Safety to lead safety, health initiatives, and environmental regulatory programs across multiple sites in the United States.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, mentorship of EHS professionals, and the delivery of world‑class safety culture while aligning with corporate objectives. Expect significant travel to manufacturing locations and a strong focus on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and general industry safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture and engage all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant level risk management and high-hazard safety programs across multiple sites.
• Ensure OSHA-compliant safety programs, incident investigation, hazard analysis, industrial hygiene, and training.
• Conduct safety audits and lead safety committee initiatives.
• Partner with production, facilities, and engineering to integrate EHS into processes, capital projects, and Management of Change reviews.
• Develop and standardize health & safety policies across locations and ensure compliant application.
• Maintain external partnerships with emergency services, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.
• Oversee environmental programs and regulatory compliance for air, wastewater, and waste; interface with EPA and regulators.
