Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Regional Manager for Environmental, Health and Safety to lead safety across multiple sites in the U.S. and promote a zero-injury culture. The role reports to the Director, EHS and involves audits, inspections, investigations, and training to uphold regulatory compliance.

The position offers remote work across the U.S. with in-office requirements in certain areas and up to 25% travel. A CSP/CHMM could be preferred; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience and in-depth knowledge of environment, health and safety regulations.
• 5+ years of experience managing regional/distributed sites (safety).
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a high-risk manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety across a multi-site environment and establish an industry-leading safety culture.
• Oversee incident investigations and ensure timely corrective actions across the region.
• Conduct safety meetings, site inspections, and audits; provide training and feedback to leadership.
