Stony Brook University is seeking a Regional Admissions Counselor to work remotely from a home office in the Houston or DFW area, covering the Texas region. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher).
• One year of full-time professional experience in a college or university setting.
• Proficiency with technology, office software and communication systems.
• Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid Driver’s License; have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations.

Responsabilités

• Represent the university in the Houston or Dallas–Fort Worth area with responsibility for the entire Texas territory.
• Travel to college fairs, high school visits, community college visits, and other outreach programs.
• Build territory outreach plans and engage with school counselors, CBO advisors and other education representatives.
• Provide information sessions on admissions and enrollment processes for students, parents and counselors.
• Coordinate targeted recruitment programs and engage with state and regional admission associations and networks.
• View and interpret data and reports based on territory performance and make follow-up recommendations.
