Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years' related experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
• Preference will be given to candidates with excellent customer service skills, strong oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, report, and assess a domestic first-year and transfer recruitment plan for the Austin/Houston area and Southern Texas.
• Conduct high school visits, college fairs, information sessions, and meetings with counselors and prospective students.
• Build relationships with prospective students, families, counselors, alumni, and communities to support recruitment goals.
• Participate in Houston Admissions Regional Network events and programs throughout the year.
• Assist in planning off-campus admission events in the region with campus partners.
• Read and evaluate domestic applications in the regional territory.
• Travel extensively, including overnights and weekends, Sept–Nov and Jan–May; quarterly trips to Salt Lake City.
